For photographers, videographers & editors

Photographers in Nepal, and the studios that need them.

Nepal has a deep bench of wedding photographers, cinematographers and editors, and most of them are hired by word of mouth. Smaran makes that easier on both sides: photographers get discovered by working studios, and studios find reliable crew without a round of phone calls.

Join as a freelancer Bring your studio onboard

If you are a photographer in Nepal

Join as freelance crew and keep your own pace. Studios invite you onto weddings that match your craft and your district, and once you are on a project you can see the crew, the tasks and the delivery deadlines in one place instead of a WhatsApp thread.

Ratings from studios you have worked with

If you are hiring a wedding photographer or crew

Smaran is built for studios, so the people you can bring onto a wedding are freelancers who have chosen to be found by studios. Filter by district and craft, look at ratings left by other studios, invite them to the project, and track what each one is owed afterwards.

Couples looking for a photographer in Kathmandu, Pokhara or elsewhere are best served by a studio — and studios on Smaran run their wedding season, crew and photo delivery from one panel.

Wedding photography in Nepal, from shoot to delivery

A Nepali wedding is rarely one event: the haldi, the mehendi, the ceremony and the reception each have their own crew and call time. Smaran gives every wedding its own project, with the crew confirmed per role and the photos delivered through albums the family can open.
